The Role

As a Painting & Decorating Tutor, you will:

• Deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons.
• Support learners working towards vocational qualifications.
• Demonstrate industry-standard painting and decorating techniques.
• Develop learners' confidence, practical ability, and employability skills.
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain safe and organised workshop environments.
• Support learners in achieving their goals and progressing into employment.

Essential / Desirable Experience

• Occupational experience within Painting & Decorating.
• Experience delivering training, coaching, mentoring, or teaching is desirable.
• Relevant Painting & Decorating qualifications.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Passion for developing learners and helping others succeed.

Teaching qualifications such as AET, CET, DET, PGCE, or Cert Ed are beneficial but not always essential depending on the opportunity.
